WECOBA® Ni14

COPPER NICKEL ALLOY
Copper–nickel wrought alloys are key materials for applications requiring high corrosion resistance, operational reliability and long-term stability. Within this demanding environment WECOBA® Ni14 is used for applications involving severe operating conditions, continuous exposure to aqueous and corrosive media and if higher strength than WECOBA® Ni10 is required.

Typical Components
This alloy is used for fittings as well as for screws, nuts, shafts, and connectors.
It is particularly suitable for applications in seawater environments and for non-magnetic components in marine engineering.
Other typical applications include short-circuit rings for electric motors.
The material is also used in the production of plain bearings (bushings).
